Summore, the darkwave and synthpop duo hailing from the rather flat state of Ohio, have released their sophomore album "New Pain". Feat not, however, as you shan't experience any pain whilst listening to this album. Instead you'll be treated to melancholic beats in a swirling void of emotional abyss exploring tragedy and fear. While the digital version is available, so is a hunky vinyl version containing two LPs in a thematic transparent purple color. And, I don't know, I think the vinyl is kinda worth it. You can stream the entirety of the album and order it below.

Summore has also released the official music video for the title track of the album. CRT fetishists are going to get their money's worth out of this as there are a TON of old school monitors and TVs on display here. Check it out:

Lastly, it's worth noting that Summore will be having a listening party for their new album on Bandcamp at 7:00PM EDT. Sounds cool, right? Go join it.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
