Premiere: Stricken with 'Starstruck Love' from The Frixion
I questioned the decision behind the cover art of The Frixion's latest single at first; it shows a lone person laying in the middle of a street. However, it's a bit more than a black and white artsy photo; no this is a likeness of where singer / songwriter Gene Serene died in 2005 only to be resurrected by medics on the spot. This moment is captured in time on 'Starstruck Love' from the electropop group. Consisting of singer / songwriter Gene Serene, Essex based producer / keyboardist Lloyd Price, and DJ Porl Young. And we're premiering the single for this right now. Enjoy the sultry vocals and catchy synthpop beats.

Serene said that the song is "about the nature of love - one can pretend it doesn’t exist, walk away from it, even try to deny it forever – however pure love never wanes and the moment you’re confronted with that person again, it’s there - the emotion just as it always was like time travel."
This single is more of an EP or Maxi-Single than anything as it comes along with a slew of remixes from Aaron Hedges - four in total - as well as a radio edit of the song. 'Starstruck Love' will be released on September 15th. Mark your calendars and pre-save HERE.

info@brutalresonance.comI've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
