Record label Re:Mission Entertainment has re-invented themselves time and time again as a juggernaut in the underground dark electronic scene. Each year they push boundaries; each year they add more artists to an already stellar roster filled with independent hidden gems to greats. And 2023 was a testament to Re:Mission’s desire to keep momentum without ever taking their foot off the pedal.

Tradition calls for the end of the year to be celebrated. And what better way to celebrate the year than by creating a compilation of certified bangers. On this compilation you’ll find a host of praise-worthy original songs from the likes of witch house legend Sidewalks and Skeletons, the mythical team-up of SINE and Leaether Strip on ‘From Beyond’, and the industrial rock powerhouse that is Warm Gadget. Remixes are taken from the finest cuts of dark electronic musicians; the rhythmic noise beats of ESA intertwine with the goth pop of BARA HARI, MORIS BLAK comes in and turns out a bassy remix for :Waijdan:, and synthpop masters Beborn Beton remix and recoil The Mystic Underground. Within the compilation you’ll even find an exclusive in-house mix of Snowbeasts’ ‘Hunt the Hunter’, covers of Deftones and Love and Rockets by Suffer Ring and Shhadows, and an unreleased track from Mentallo & the Fixer side project Reign Of Roses. Twenty-three tracks to end 2023.

Closing the book on 2023 though they may be, Re:Mission Entertainment is looking forwards to an abundant release schedule coming 2024. Confirmed 2024 releases include albums or EPs by the likes of Ex-Hyena, SINE, Reign Of Roses, Fact Pattern, Left Spine Down, RaizdByWolvz, Dread Risks, Sidewalks And Skeletons, Archon Of The Fairlight, SØLVE, Warm Gadget and more. Re:Mission Entertainment has also announced a brand-new series of compilations simply titled “RE:MX” which will focus on collaborative remixes between fellow label mates and friends.
