This duo is prepping to twist tongues with the title of their project Sonum Unum. I just tried saying that five times fast and failed on the second instant; I dare anyone to do the same without their mouth lapse into a warphole. Anyway, Craig Douglas and Michael Goldberg are the two gents who make up this duo and together they craft music heavily inspired by 80s and 90s era electronica and synthpop. They've recently released their new album "Signals From The Sun" via Negative Gain Productions which can be streamed / purchased below.

Sonum Unum encourages every listener to interpret "Signals From The Sun" in their own fashion. I interpret the title of the track as a reminder to where more sunscreen as my skin burns oh-so easily in the sunlight. To them, however, the main theme of the album is the power and pain of love and loss through human connection. Sure as hell beats my interpretation, but, hey, that's why there's the phrase "To each their own."

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
