I feel like the biggest crossover between rivetheads and your classical goths is their unfounded love for covering classic synthpop bands whether it be the likes of Sisters of Mercy, Depeche Mode, or (in this case) Duran Duran. I suppose the arrangements are similar - attempting to take a dance beat and make it solemn - and most people are exposed to the darker side of electronic music through these means. Alas, I digress as I shall not fall into an over-analytical state. Today's little news blip focuses on Miss Trezz and Paul Wiley who have teamed up to create a cover of Duran Duran's song 'Come Undone'. You can stream it directly below:

Miss Trezz spoke on the cover and stated that she, "was drawn to the authenticity and vulnerability of this song as it expressed a familiar unraveling of self when emotions of the heart override the logic of self-preservation in romantic relationships."

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
