Ah, what it would be to control the undead. I suppose it would be a goth’s wet dream; we’ve already got plenty of them invading cemeteries to do impromptu photo shoots. Which also leads into another topic and debate: are goths an invasive species of cemeteries? While I can’t really comment more on either subject due to time restraints and my ability to not dive into too much nonsense while there’s other things to be discuess, I can at least comment on darkwave duo’s fantastic new EP (tying into the theme) “Necromancer”.

Released via COP International, “Necromancer” is a four-track piece containing the title track, a cover of A Perfect Circle’s ‘The Doom’, as well as an instrumental version and a remix done by Killer Shelter of the title track. The duo, that being Frank Weyzig and Yvette Winkler, are aiming to pay homage to their post-punk roots. You can purchase / stream the EP directly below.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
