Contagion Collective Shows off Australian Independent scene with "Outbreak: Volume 2"

I want to say that Australia is home to some of industrial's best hidden gems. Thinking off the top of my head, Isserley, HOSTILE ARCHITECT, and Alicia May come to mind; three independent producers who dominate anything that they touch. So it's always dope to see someone giving love to their home country in terms of independent exports. And that's exactly what Contagion Collective aims to do. This is a collaboration of independent musicians within the wider Australian dark electronic / industrial scene who support and work with one another to spread the word. Australia is more than just Mad Max and Kangaroos; it has some pretty fucking great music. 

So Contagion Collective has released their second volume of collected singles titled "Outbreak: Vol. 2". Within you're going to find the likes of raw industrial metal beats from Monsters Around Us, classic electro-industrial experiments a la Replikant, cyberpunk influenced nuances from Mercy of Dawn, and much more. All in all, thirteen tracks to peruse. Obviously, as with most compilations, not everything on here will be your cup of tea. Which is fine and which is what I think compilations should be. But finding that single that you love and discovering a plethora of new music is part of the fun. 

Each of the songs on the compilation is part of a previous release within the band's discography. So find the stuff you like, find the artist, and support them as much as you can. You can stream / purchase the compilation below:
