This might not necessarily fit with the industrial or darker electronic side of what we normally cover but I couldn't resist supporting this band after hearing their music and watching the video I was sent over. In short, Heathen Apostles takes their southern roots, outlaw mentality, and Gothic lifestyle and mix it into one of the more unique visages I've come across in a while. Based out of Los Angeles, CA and with four members in tow, this darker than thou art band has deemed their music as bloodgrass. But enough talk and let's have you hear and see what I'm talking about:

The above video is a tribute to old school black and white horror films - and being that I'm a fan of such films this made my heart echo with spooky vibes. The project has also announced that their fifth studio album "Dust to Dust" will be out next month prior to their European summer tour. In the meantime, you can check out more of their work over on Spotify

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
