Industrial / electronic duo Skynd has released a brand new music video for their song 'Katherine Knight'. As with their other releases, this is based off of a true crime story. You can stream the video directly below:

We were searching for a theme. And I thought, why don't we just write a kind of twisted love song? Katherine Knight  wasn't able to feel true empathy and true love, that's why I wanted to write a love song about her. If you have love and hate and you put them together, they cancel each other out so you can't feel anything, and that is what I am saying in the lyrics. I wanted to come up with a love song that is actually not a love song. Because she wasn't able to feel that as a psychopath. I had her story in my diary since I was 14 - she was one of the reasons that I went to Australia, because I wanted to have an interview with her, but that was just impossible. She never really talked about the whole crime, she never told anyone what was her trigger, why she killed her husband and cooked him into stew. -Skynd

Skynd has also launched a new merch store which includes a T-Shirt, a hoodie, and even a Skynd Doll. Isn't it cute?

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
