EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE: Electro-Rockers Optic Oppression Unveil "Sparks 3.33"
Western New York based synth-rock group Optic Oppression has been electrifying audiences with their live performances for a couple of years now, sharing the stage with such revered names as Aesthetic Perfection, Assemblage 23, and PIG. They have even locked down shows with Combichrist on their US Fall 2016 tour and Dawn of Ashes on their Fire of the Phoenix Tour. Live shows aside, the band has been working away on their technique and have produced one EP under their belt titled Find A Way.
Find A Way saw six tracks go out into the world. Through diligence and hard work, Optic Oppression is proud to release a new version of the fourth song 'Sparks' from Find A Way titled 'Sparks 3.33'. We here at Brutal Resonance are honored to have the pleasure of debuting the 'Sparks 3.33' music video for the first time. No more reading is necessary, just hit that play button directly below:
'Sparks 3.33' is the first single from Optic Oppression that was filmed and produced by Shawn Boone Jr. of Spin Kick Productions. The new version of 'Sparks' shows off the evolution of Optic Oppression from individual thought to a full blown modernized band. 'Sparks 3.33' explores the world of light in the darkness and the machine in humanity.
Optic Oppression is influenced by such bands as Stabbing Westward, Nine Inch Nails, Linkin Park, and Orgy. You can check stream and download their debut EP Find A Way for free via BANDCAMP.

info@brutalresonance.comI've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
