Acid Gambit has been steadily releasing darkened electronic music primarily within the synthwave scene since their debut single 'Tales From the Darkside'. Appropriately released on October 31st, 2017 the single was part of a compilation titled "Neo-LA Presents: Grave Wave Vol. 1". Though the project's earliest work it showed the producer's ability through a wonderful array of spooky electronics. Acid Gambit's first release, then, was their debut album "Nemesis" which would build the formula for Acid Gambit's career. Releasing the full album in digital, cassette, and CD formats whilst following a bit of a concept, this allowed the electronic enthusiast to get their foot in the door and build a fan base.

2018 saw the release of their follow-up album "Phenomenon" which explored evil extraterrestial life forms a la 1950's paranoia and government conspiracy. With that in mind, Acid Gambit has chosen to continue the theme of wicked alien life forms coming to Earth with not so gentle plans. In all its B-movie glory, we at Brutal Resonance are proud to present to you Acid Gambit's new album "Entity". You can stream the album directly below:

In the spirit of a 1950s sci-fi thriller, Entity exposes a sinister conspiracy to replace the inhabitants of Earth with alien hybrids. Driving beats and thick synths tell the ghastly story and then erase your memory so that nothing will stand in the way of the alien agenda.
-Acid Gambit

Just like with Acid Gambit's previous albums, this one will be releasing in limited edition CD and Cassette formats. The digital version is also available for pre-order with a release date of tomorrow. You can pre-order the album HERE.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
