Miniview: Veil The World Death Industrial, Power Electronics Trepaneringsritualen It might be a little odd to find Trepaneringsritualen under the mini-review section, but I found this accessible only because "Veil The World" is a re-release of the original tape run that was available via Kości Tapes. Cold Spring saw the demand for more and stepped forward to deliver more physical copies. However, this time the album is in a CD format rather than a cassette. But, rather than just reissue the album, Cold Spring has also given the album a remastering, which really compliments it well. In all other words, the album has never sounded better. Of course, Ritualistic death industrial does have a very niche genre, but if there would be any one musician that could get you into the sound and atmosphere, it would be this darkened Swede. Tape distortion, subliminal messages, and an overall sense of despair will take over your senses as you make your way through this album. The title track is perhaps the highlight of the album, so definitely feast your ears on the drumming, pulsing work found within. A good remastering, though bare on new content, ensures that any T x R x P who did not have the chance to pick up the original run of "Veil The World" will certainly do so now.  450

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
