Veil of Thorns EBM, Electro-Industrial TraKKtor TraKKtor has been around for quite some time now. Done a couple of remixes and demo releases, but this single might count as their first official release. 'Veil of Thorns' is mostly to be seen as a digital only release, but a very limited physical version will probably be available as well. The track "Veil of Thorns" is far from a new track, I've heard the track in at least one different version during the years and it's sure about time for it to be officially released since it's a great track. I remember the song a little bit different from the demo, so I guess this is a reworked version, but that's not a letdown. It has the great danceable rhythm, the harsh vocals and a great chorus that is highlighted with an even greater melody. Is it possible to uphold this in a complete album? It would be nice if that come to be the case, since the debut album is due to this year. There's also two remixes of the same track by Terror Punk Syndicate and BRAP.org. I generally feel that the remixes leave some to wish for. The Terror Punk Syndicate remix is pretty good and you recognize some of the sounds from his album, but I still think the layout feels a bit strange and the vocals don't match up with the music as good as hoped for. The BRAP.org remix is a bit different and is pretty cool in its way; still, I don't think I will remember it as time goes by. The remixes is not spectacular in any way. Still, a great release and if you are short of money, then I suggest you spend it on buying the original track only (if available). 450
