SwedIT - Lost And Found 12"

Recently, I had the chance to review the mega 2LP/2CD by the highly talented 23rd Underpass. It is a colossal document of amazing music and collaborations that took nearly 5 years to complete. Aside from all the stunning LP versions and extended versions that are featured on the 23rd Underpass 'Real Life' 2LP/2CD Italo-synthpop document, there are several remixes featuring the likes of Tobias Bernstrup, Techniques Berlin, Tony Marinello, The Sweeps, Selofan, Flemming Dalum, Codazzi, Riccardo Campa and of course SwedIT. SwedIT was tapped for 3 remixes by Mr. Moumneh of Nadanna Records. SwedIT delivered some brilliant work that received high marks on the 'Real Life' release. SwedIT returns with a new 12" on SwedIT Records out of Sweden. The label is run by SwedIT himself, Krister Petersson. Krister has been around for a while. Some may remember his synthpop powerhouse band Chinese Theatre, others remember the popular underground Italo inspired project Vision Talk. Krister has a strong attachment to the 80's. He loves the feeling the 80's brought. This is the reason for the 12" as opposed to a CD or digital only release. The older crowd remembers how popular the 12" singles were in the 80's. Krister looks to recaptured that excitement of the 80's with a series of 12" singles featuring a wide range of vocal talents.
We have a limited edition 12" single (250 copies) that yields 4 tracks. All 4 tracks are different versions of the single called "Lost And Found". The single features former Vision Talk vocalist Richard Flow. The first two versions are the extended and the radio. Both amp up the beat with some high-octane dance floor power! Well designed synth arrangements and rhythms blast our minds with a warm sensation that weaves us into a blissful state of euphoria. Richard's vocals bring a certain credibility to the song. They come across as sincere and heartfelt without sounding weak. The final 2 tracks are both remixed by 23rd Underpass. After 3 solid remixes by SwedIT on the 'Real Life (Extended Versions & Remixes)' 2CD, 23rd Underpass reciprocate with 2 crafty remixes of their own. Italo undercurrents flow through the mixes with their unmistakeable 23rd Underpass flair and intensity, with the final offering revealing a slightly lowered beat primed with some sweet Italo chill.
We can certainly expect more from SwedIT. There are already plans in motion for the next 12" as well as a very limited Vision Talk 7". Jump aboard and find your next destination with SwedIT!!!!
