statiCViolence - Auf die Fresse???
statiCViolence is described to be somewhat of Redneck EBM and I can agree with that. There's some kind of playfulness harshness that makes you think in those patterns.
With the raw opening of the track "Stellungskreig" you will understand directly what this is about. This is hard pounding and face-slapping EBM. Things go on throughout most of the album with great dance floor mayhems like "Ira", "Vernuft", "Auf die Fresse? Fertig? Los!!!" and "Zwiespalt".
There?s some down parts as well, the instrumental dance track "need4beat" is boring and the track "Ficken Fetzt!" is silly. Yeah, we have heard sampled porn flicks before and it's getting over the top.
The track "Counterstrike" is pretty funny though, even though it uses the nowadays heavy used Text-To-Speech sampling. Perhaps it makes fun of the French Counter-Strike player that got knifed in-game and decided to find that player and stab him in real life. I don't know if the songs are related in any way, but in my mind, that's what the song is about.
This is overall a good album with some downsides. Still, if you like some raw and modern EBM, I think you should check this album out. Jun 21 2010
