Enjoy More EBM Randolph & Mortimer Randolph & Mortimer, not to be confused with Statler & Waldorf return with a lesson in investing. They create a limited quantity of high quality merchandise. Soon the demand will out-weigh the supply and the goods will hopefully go up in value and result in a capital gain. We as the consumer choose to invest in the product. Rather than leveraging compound interest and diversifying funds, you invest in a commodity called your record collection, your legacy. Investing in your physical music collection, if done right can be converted into a stream of income down the road in your retirement years. Take the proceeds from the sale of your collection and purchase a risk adverse solution, perhaps a fixed annuity that will grow tax-deferred and outpace inflation while providing that fixed rate of return we so desperately need during our retirement years.Randolph & Mortimer decided to treat their diehard dedicated fans with an opportunity to invest in a super limited vinyl and CD release. The single showcases the well-received "Enjoy More" track off the outstanding Manifesto For A Modern World album from 2019. There are three physical variations of the release. The CD versions are limited to 21 copies each. There is the brown card version and the black digipak version. The third variation is limited to a meager 20 count. It comes on direct to lathe cut clear 7" vinyl.  Each record comes with two wrap around sleeves, vinyl stickers, and their best seller in waiting, Randy & Mort Guide to Wealth Creation. As of now only 2 CDs are left. The rest sold out in a week. It would have been quicker but this was an expensive investment in a tough time. If you had the purchase power for this, no doubt you will be happy with the end result. A lot of time and money was put into this to give the consumer something very special. All three versions of "Enjoy More" are solid. Aside from the original version which is killer on its own merit gets enhanced by New Beat/EBM producer Kris Baha. His remix adds some different sounds for R&M yet familiar sounds for Kris Baha. This remix would fit nicely with Baha's My Master or Starts To Fall releases. He takes the EBM foundation and polishes it with streaks of New Beat and some techno. The end result is a very impressive interpretation. "Enjoy More (First Version)" was previously unreleased, now available on the CD version of this very special release. This version takes on a more atavistic raw minimalistic approach with plenty of echoed pounding. When you play the original, you can certainly feel how the sounds were fleshed out more and polished up for the album. This should not be regarded as filler. This certainly has its place as well as its appeal. Randolph & Mortimer have done this enough times that they can easily create tracks that will resonate with their fans. They branched out and found ways to include other artists that can add even more value to their goods. Schwefelgeld nailed "Citizens" and Kris Baha nailed "Enjoy More". It's great to see the artists promoting each other by creating new interpretations and hopefully some new fans. The packaging is well thought out. The music is top notch. This review was more about the entire package, not just the music. It really shows the artist's respect for the fans by offering something very personal all the way down to the hand-written thank you addressed to the consumer and a certificate of authenticity. Randolph & Mortimer took some of their inspiration for Enjoy More from Otto Friedrich and his five classic words that summed up the 1980's, "Get rich, borrow, spend, enjoy". No diminishing returns here. Well done R&M!!!!! 450
