PitchBlack Inc - Alles Ist Gesagt
PitchBlack Inc released their debut EP in 2005 and released a remix album called 'Folge Mir' in 2008 (with 15 versions of the same track, don't know about that decision). Now they are here with their first real album called 'Alles Ist Gesagt'. The album opens up with just "Folge Mir" and from the start they set the standard with their dark and rockish electro. Most of the tracks are in German, so if you are having problems with the German language, you might want to look elsewhere.
Great tracks to follow are "Zieh Dich Aus", "Zukunft" and the slower "City Lights" and "Das Spiel". Even though I actually enjoy the musical song structure of all the tracks, even the pretty strange instrumental and sample based "Retro Adam", it sometimes feel a bit rough around the edges and I would liked it more if the songs where a bit more polished.
All and all, I feel that Ionium Records made a good call signing this band and I look forward to their future releases, all it needs is a bit more polish and these guys have the capability to make a great album. Dec 20 2010
