Possibilities Futurepop, EBM Nature of Wires This review was commissioned. However, it bears no weight on the score or decision. All reviews are written from an unbiased standpoint. Both Machina X and Nature of Wires struck gold with their first collaboration ‘Within’; a synthpop match made in heaven, it was a hit with fans across the globe. Both artists understood the sheer magic that happened when they worked with one another, and thus they gave birth to an additional three collabs, including ‘2000 Miles’, ‘Dance With Me’, and their latest piece ‘Possibilities’. The artists have described (in my own words) the song as a bright and upbeat single that throws a fat middle finger up to judgement, negativity, and the general trash of everyday life. Possibilities by Nature of Wires + Machina XSparkling synths begin the single but swiftly transforms into a minimal but ripe bassline that allows Machina X’s voice to shine through. Dreamy and hopeful do her word instill hope within the single. Nature of Wires offers rolling synths, like a wave in the ocean, through multiple transitions. As usual, production work is solid, and Nature of Wires offers plenty of samples to keep his repertoire in check. A short and sweet ode to joy, this three-and-a-half-minute single is just the right track to help your day get started on the right side of the bed. Seven-and-a-half out of ten.  450

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
