Electric Breathing - Adrenochrome

To this day, I find myself shaking with rage, knowing that this project has been overlooked for so long. Fortunately, our good friend Fredrik at Twisted Flesh has signed up Defcon-1 (who IS Electric Breathing).
You see, not only is this project full of promise, but this is the 3rd release without a label. That may set alarm bells ringing, but there is something special about Electric Breathing.
The synth on this album is as fast-paced and as memorable as anything the genre classics could churn out, but unlike many of the bands preceding it, Electric Breathing manages to make each song stand out a million miles away.
Take for example, "My Agony", which always makes it onto my playlist - it is easily as anthemic as "Christfuck", "Love Breeds Suicide", and "End of Ages".
"Fuck My Wound" is to Electric Breathing what "Hellraiser" is to Suicide Commando. There's a certain bile-inducing bitterness in the knowledge that half of the people reading this site won't have heard this project, and I can only stress that any re-releases of this work are going to be welcomed. You can even still buy a copy on the Electric Breathing myspace.
I really cannot describe Electric Breathing, other than stress my love for the project. The name conjures up some great imagery, the music is almost flawless, and the ability to keep producing material of this quality is impressive. That all goes without any label support, so far.
This is going to be big, and rightly so. Feb 17 2011
