Indicator Darkwave Deine Lakaien For many years now, Deine Lakaien have been equal to quality, and 'Indicator' is nothing else than pure quality. Will it be able to smack down the epic 'Kasmodiah' from the throne? All the tracks are very well written, moody and elegant. Alexander's voice is as always most amazing and his second half Ernst with his composing that is filling you up with perfect landscapes. One of my favourite things about this album is all the little sound effects that pop up in one place never to return again. The first 20 times I listened to the album, I always discovered new sounds I haven't heard before, and I discovered different things when listening in my car stereo than I did while listening to my great earplugs. All the tracks on this album is worth hearing, but my favourites are "One Night", "Who'll Save Your World", "Blue Heart", "Europe", "Six o'clock" and "Go Away Bad Dreams". These tracks are simply brilliant, but as I said, all of the tracks are great. So, to answer my question that I started with then, no, this album is not as great as 'Kasmodiah'. In my opinion 'Kasmodiah' is a true masterpiece and a 10 of 10 rated album. 'Indicator' makes it almost there and is truly an album that should be bought by old Deine Lakaien fans as well as newcomers. This is simply one of the best albums this year. 550
