MINIVIEW: Break Your Silence Industrial, EBM Cyferdyne Another brand new grab bag of remixes courtesy of DWA has slammed our way. Cyferdyne's "Keep Your Silence" is transformed and mixed up by a multitude of different and talented artists in the electro and industrial scene. "Break Your Silence" features nine new and previously unreleased remixes, the remixes from the "Numb" and "Jigsaw" singles, as well as a remix from the original CD makes for a grand total of fifteen different remixes contained in one album. As usual, you'll find yourself picking and choosing remixes that you'll love and ones that you'll hate. I personally thought that each of the tracks were well done and perfected. My favorites included ∆aimon's lovely version of 'Jigsaw' and Ginger Snap5's remix of 'Glass'. While Aaimon was able to incorporate their charming and soothing witch house perfectly with the vocals in 'Jigsaw', Ginger Snap5 was able to craft a charming, but light electro-dance ballad out of 'Glass'. And, even if you can't enjoy the tracks that I chose out, there are thirteen others that you can browse through. If out of all this talent you're unable to find something that you actually enjoy, then you are quite a stubborn bastard and should quit listening to electronic music. But, take a listen to this. It's available both digitially and on a limited, 2CD edition that included both this remix album and the well received "Keep Your Silence".  450

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
