Things Come to Pass Dark Electro, Harsh EBM Controlled Collapse Controlled Collapse is actually a band I had never heard of before this release, which was recommended to me by a friend of mine and boy, was I in for a treat. 'Things Come to Pass' is a free released album which you can download from their website , but I recommend getting a physical copy of the album to support the band. I don't know how to explain the style of this band, because they have a very special style and even if you heard bands similar to this I can't think of any that I could draw a parallel to right now. Some tracks are a bit monotone and almost minimalistic combined with almost like spoken vocals and other tracks sound a bit like a Combichrist track but with clean vocals Then you have a track that almost sound a bit like a Suicide Commando track. I love the mix they do and the production is really good, this is a very important bit for me. 'Things Come to Pass' is really a album that offers everything from fast dance tracks to slow minimalistic tracks to darker slower tracks and some tracks even have a nice distorted guitar backing up the drums and melodies. I got three personal favorite tracks on this album that are all very different. The first one is called "The Same" which is a very aggressive track that remind me a bit music vise of Combichrist, but with clean vocals only and no screaming. The second one is "Scream and Shout" which reminds me a little bit of a Suicide Commando (at least in the intro part) track, but with more Combichrist inspired screams backing up the clean vocals. And the last choice is the track "Halloween" which is a bit more monotone and minimalistic and has a bit of a more old school sound to it and it's a really dark and nice track. 550
