Energy, Light and Darkness Synthpop, Electropop APT There are many things that we could think of that would make a good Synthpop album. There are an infinite amount of possibilities within the Synth genres, and the scene has grown significantly throughout the world. Nowadays, Synth bands find competition among other artists in their field. And the reason why I wrote about Synthpop in my introduction is because I found an excellent album to present to you. I picked it up because I like the name, 'Energy, Light, and Darkness'. In my opinion, APT chose an excellent name for their new release. The album's theme covers everything the title mentions. I mean, if you listen to it, you will feel the energy, see the light and darkness, and all the emotion that good music can express. Energy, Light and Darkness is a very complete album with a great plot, that makes it worthy to be heard by Synth lovers all the time. With songs that have EBM structure and several tempos, the tracks are different from one another bringing about a bunch of sensations, which shows the creativity and talent of this band. And the last aspect that I want to discuss in regards to the album would be the vocal work. I have to say that I love finding original voices and vocal work done with a personal brand in Synth wave music, and this is one of those cases. Definitely with APT, you can travel out of the typical Synth Wave music to discover something new and original in this genre. Listen and enjoy it. 550
