INDUSTRIAL / DARKSYNTH PROJECT LAZER STATION UNVEILS BRAND-NEW SINGLE 'SKULLJACKER'
Industrial, darksynth, and cyberpunk project Lazer Station has released his brand-new single ‘Skulljacker’ via Brutal Resonance Records. The single comes off of Lazer Station’s upcoming album “Skies of Rust” which is due out on March 28th, 2022. The album will be released in both digital and limited-edition cassette formats with pre-orders starting on March 1st, 2022. “Skies of Rust” is a concept album revolving around a doomed earth. Domed cities have been erected in place of the old ones, as the surface of the Earth is covered in nothing but dust and dirt. Life outside of the domed cities is impractical, and those who remain are dwindling in numbers. Billionaires and trillionaires run the resources scarce, all led under the iron fist of the Queen of NuArk. Through all this, a rebellion is brewing. ‘Skulljacker’ follows the tale of a cybernetically enhanced rebel who is the final hope to save the planet. You can stream the song below on Bandcamp.
Without any surprise, the warring factions are not able to come together to fight the techno-monarchy and are quickly wiped out by the security forces operators and jackals. From the wastelands, one last savior emerges, the Skulljacker. A cybernetically enhanced freedom fighter with the ability to wirelessly enter computer systems and disable defense systems.
