The Summoner, a short horror film written and directed by James Secker, is currently in the works to debut at festivals across the world. The trailer for the project shows off what would happen if Ash from the Evil Dead got blended with Father Merrin from The Exorcist. An ass kicking, possession punching badass if I ever saw one. Either way, you can check out the trailer for yourself directly below:

The Summoner is attempting to make a timeless piece with no set date in mind. An abvious eighties love letter, the short film was funded via IndieGoGo where it hit the 101% mark on a 7,000GBP budget. Filming took course over four days and has went on to receive countless of rave reviews from critics and fans alike. The awesome synth soundtrack has also been released via Lazerdiscs Records. You can check that out HERE

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
