Have you ever felt ostracized, out of place? For most people in the alternative scene, and in the world at large, that’s a definite yes. This is something that The Mystic Underground is exploring in their most recent single and music video ‘In a Darkened Room’.  Vladimir Valette, vocalist / producer in the project, explains the song perfectly stating that “It’s hard to think about what songs are truly about when you write them but in the case of ‘In A Darkened Room’, it’s meant to describe the longing for belonging. The sense of feeling at home at night where anonymity is king and you can be anything you want to be." You can stream the video directly below and boogie with him if you want.

‘In a Darkened Room’ has also been released on Bandcamp alongside a remix from Jeremy Bastard. You can stream / purchase the single below:

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
