Runaway Droid comes from a metal background but has been a long-time fan of synthwave. The founder has been a general retrohead and makes music that they would enjoy to listen to in hopes others will enjoy it as well. The project is currently working on a live set to participate in events in Finland alongside other producers under the Helsinki Synth City Collective. The collective has just recently put out a compilation / cassette featuring Runaway Droid, that of which you can check out HERE.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
