Synthpop duo The Soft Season have released their debut single titled 'Nothing Will Keep Me Away From You'. The band self-describes the single as 80s synth driven pop with glossy post-pink guitar sounds. Further background vocals were provided by Amani Sabry on the single, with both him and Duncan Boyd (One-half of The Soft Season) making a DIY video for the song. You can stream the single directly below:

The Soft Season is Brian Gallant and singer Duncan Boyd. Having both played together in a couple of Toronto Punk bands, Gallant and Boyd turned their love for synthpop into a new group. They are currently recording their work at Wanted, a studio based in Toronto.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
