Post-punk project Spirit in the Room has released a brand new single titled 'Kid' via the new record label Anti-Language Records. With Nick Cave influences, the song comes off with hard snares, slide guitars, fuzzy vocals and bass guitar with a hint of noise. You can check out the single directly below:

Everything starts with the beat and the bass. Then I use the guitar to dress everything up, kinda like a christmas tree, you know? The lyrics, about a bunch of different things, tend to be about cutting a cord, letting yourself go with a relationship that you know might drag you down. I do believe in a higher power, so it touches my music in someways also. I don't know how some people might read that, but it is how it is.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
