Montreal-based industrial project Of Tanz Victims will re-issue their debut vinyl "Fighting False God" on Artoffact Records in September.

Formed in the early 80s, Of Tanz Victims have cited the British-industrial movement as an influence (including the likes of Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV, and Cabaret Voltaire). Taking over the Montreal scene as the Vancouver area blossomed, Of Tanz Victims quickly became an important factor in defining what Canadian industrial could be.

And now, in the present, "Fighting False God" will be released as a sort of 30 year anniversary celebration. Artoffact will release the album remastered and redesigned, paying homage to the original with a triangle shaped design, but with a new cover photo.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
