NNHMN releases music video for 'Perigee Syzygy'
Minimal wave and dark electronic outfit NNHMN has released a music video for their single 'Perigee Syzygy'. The song comes off of one of the band's latest EPs, "Tomorrow's Heroine", which released in July of 2021 via K-dreams Records. "Tomorrow's Heroine" has been described as "songs of hope, desire, and sheer electronic magic." The five-track release has been issued in digital, CD, and vinyl formats and is available for purchase HERE. You can stream the video directly below:
'Perigee Syzygy' was shot last October the same day NNHMN played in London for the very first time. London-based Italian film director, Simone Pellegrini, shot the music video and spoke about it. She stated:
'Perigee Syzygy' comes from different directions and evolved multiple times before being filmed... heavily inspired from noir/horror B-movies, Gaspar Noe imaginarium and the atmosphere of the underground clubs. I was looking to create this short fantasy story beginning with recollections of a night out, but through a deep fall in the altered states, the end turns out to be sinister and deadly. With the collaboration of the two protagonists, Olivia and Benjamin - their natural talent of performing contributes more elements in the development and the transition of the characters.’

info@brutalresonance.comI've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
