Nightcrawler, one of darksynth’s best kept secrets, has collaborated with Deus Ex Lumina to release ‘My Worst Enemy is Myself’. This is not the normal stuff you’d expect from Nightcrawler, taking a divisive dip into darkwave territory; he sheds the cybernetic horror material he’s been producing to put on a leather jacket and some sunglasses like all darkwave greats. This isn’t a review, but I wouldn’t necessarily say that this is the best from Nightcrawler; it’s good darkwave but that’s about all I can say about it. Nothing special or unique, and Deus Ex Lumina has an average set of chords. I wouldn’t find myself swooning over him at a concert for any reason.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
