Michael Pinch, known for his work in the EBM project Chrome Corps, has just launched the second EP under his solo project Michael Landscape. Those eager to down another bottle of hardened EBM may find themselves chugging a different kind of drink as Landscape focuses on acid house, Detroit techno, electro, breaks, new beat, and other such fun ravey music from the 80s and 90s. Either way, he’s launched a follow-up to his debut EP with his new one titled “VR Generated Landscapes 2: The Deadliest Grooves In The West”. This six track EP contains a couple of original tracks as well as other mixes and alternatives to previously released songs. You can stream / purchase the EP in its entirety below:

Landscape produced this EP with hardware synthesizers, sequencers, samplers, and drum machines to get a retro feel. Additionally, he lists the likes of Liaisons Dangereuses, Kraftwerk, DAF, Front 242, 808 State, Joey Beltram, Phuture, Orbital, Drecxiya, Cabaret Voltaire, and many more as influences.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
