'Through The Eyes Of Flies' is a song I wrote back in 2014-15 , I always knew I wanted it to be this grandiose fucking power ballad type of thing but I ended up recording and releasing an acoustic demo, always meaning to make it what I heard in my head. Yet every time I tried, and there were many times through the years, I just couldn't get it. I've given up on it several times, tried to ignore but it keeps coming back to me, I often play it as I sit in my living room alone at 4 in the morning...I'm not sure why yet but it feels like the most important song I've ever written. Out of every Carrion song this is my favourite, this is the song I'd want to show someone who's never heard us before. -Carrion
