Witchy, pagan dark electronic dance trio Hem Netjer takes us on a journey through the five elements in their brand-new EP "The Song of Trees". I planned on making a joke about how Hem Netjer was copying from the hit Nickolodeon show Avatar: The Last Airbender, but Hem Netjer chose the elements of Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Void adding an additional element that wasn't present in the original series. Though, I suppose "void bending" would be a pretty dope style.

ANYWAY, each song in the album acts as a chapter going through each of the elements, with the sixth combining all five, and the seventh as a reflective piece on mankind. You can stream / purchase the EP directly below.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
