Synthpop/darkwave act Ferocity Kills has released the first and title track off their upcoming EP Violent Starlight. The EP is due to release on July 7th next month and tells the story of, as Ferocity Kills herself put, "...a girl who wanted to prove her faith to her god by venturing into the wilderness barefoot and blindfolded in hopes that she would eventually feel his embrace." Things do not go as planned, and the protagonist of the story is eventually rebuilt by an entity called the Mother of Vessels who grants her the power to rebuild herself into a fighter against invisible gods. You can stream the track directly below:

Ferocity Kills is Faith Lucille, an independent artist born in Salt Lake City, Utah in the United States. Her experimental film, photography, and music is influenced by her escape of Mormon ideology. She uses her art as a healing vessel utilizing darker imagery, fantasy, and philosophy. A self taught artist, Lucille is currently working as a director on music videos for musicians in the Monterey Bay underground and is looking to expand.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
