Experimental and dark ambient projects Clawing and Catafalque have announced a brand new split EP titled "Memento Mori". It is due out on October 25th, 2019 via Trepanation Recordings. The split will be released in both digital and limited edition cassette formats, both of which can be purchased HERE. You can stream the EP directly below:

With this split we wanted to write a bunch of songs. It doesn't sound all that complicated but we wanted to get out of the haunted house we'd been stumbling around with since our first record. We wanted to make a side of a split that felt like a whole album. That was the challenge. To make something cohesive with the amount of time we had. It practically wrote itself and I think I speak for everyone in the band when I say this is the best material we've done. Well, until the next record. Obviously. Everything we've done as a band so far is here along with some new directions that we're hoping to take on future albums. We're glad to be here. We're glad you're listening. Thank you. -Clawing

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
