Electronic project ATRIST has released their debut EP "[A/B_01]". The EP contains a dark ambient / noisey cinematic track titled 'The Arrival', a catchy noise-pop tune 'Lose It', as well as an instrumental version of the song. ATRIST is the solo project of singer / producer D who is known for her work in We Are Parasols. You can purchase / stream the EP directly below:

This song is about me. It’s also not about me. It’s about mental illness. It’s about drug use. It’s about being in a club. It’s about being in the world. It’s about being alive. It’s about whatever you want it, or need it, to be about. I dedicate this song to my family, my friends. Especially to all of my fellow weirdos, geeks, freaks, and all those who are strange and unusual. This song is made for voguing, slam-dancing, or for doing whatever the fuck you want to do. But I do want to say this song is especially dedicated to those quiet, shy souls that love to pretend and dance alone in their room. My bedroom is where I felt the safest and most free. It’s where my journey as a musician started so it means the most to reach out and connect with my kin — the bedroom dreamers. Well, it’s finally time. I am ready to do this. Are you ready? Okay. Let’s lose it. -D

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
