Synthetic-Metal duo Chiildren has released their newest track O' Child from their upcoming EP The Circle Narrows. The song itself was produced by Michael Keene of The Faceless, while the artwork on the EP comes from the talented Steven Johnson Leyba.

Chris Zeischegg on working with Michael Keene - "It has been an honor to work with producer, Michael Keene, on The Circe Narrows EP. His knowledge and understanding of metal, industrial, and electronic music has been integral in shaping the new material from experimentation into what I hope is the perfect representation of our sound."

He also had this to say about the new song - "Our new song, 'O' Child,' reflects an evolution from spirituality to narcissism. And the upcoming EP, The Circle Narrows, is meant as a disappropriation of symbols. It's difficult to view ancient texts or images without the thought that their power, or significance, is irrelevant to contemporary life. If Ouroboros (the snake that eats itself) is meant as a symbol of individuation, I can only see it as a reminder that the path has narrowed and will soon run out."

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
