Brooklyn, NY based Occult Dance Music act a place both wonderful and strange is set to release their second album The Laura Palmer Deviations on July 23rd. You can pre-order the album HERE. The first single for the album 'Prom Night' was released back in June. To get a taste of what the album will sound like, you can stream that single below:

The Laura Palmer Deviations came about due to a place both wonderful and strange being commissioned by the David Lynch Foundation to create an audiovisual performance piece for Lynch's art opening in Philly. The album contains the audio from the performance at its height.

a place both wonderful and strange was formed about three years ago. Aside from being hired by the David Lynch Foundation, they have also opened for The Lady In The Radiator and played Terminal 5 with The Crystal Method for a Blade-themed rave - which I am jealous that I missed.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
