Clovvder - 'My Mother Was the Moon'
In a shocking turn of events, here is a cover that I believe to be better than the original song that it is based off of. Clovvder stated that King Dude's 'My Mother Was the Moon' is one of their favorite songs and have been using this cover to end off their live sets. It is high time that we have heard it. My God, is it dark and sensual. You can check out the original version by King Dude in this hypnotic music video and you can purchase / stream Clovvder's version directly below:

Youth Code - 'Puzzle'
Hot damn. HOT DAMN. Youth Code's new single 'Puzzle' is fucking smashing. If you haven't been following this thrashy EBM band for the past while you should start now and check out their other material. It's hard hitting and phenomenal; I love it. You can purchase / stream the song directly below:

W.A.S.T.E. - "There Is No Redemption"
Rhythmic noise group W.A.S.T.E. is entering 2020 with a brand new album titled "There Is No Redemption" and currently has the second track from the album streaming on their Bandcamp page. The album is also available for pre-order with thirteen tracks being released on April 20th. Hit that play button and prepare for some noise.

LV-426 - "Shadow Run"
Naming yourself after one of the most iconic locations in cinematic sci-fi history is bold but fitting for a synthwave / industrial musician. And that's the description that newcomer LV-426 fits. Headed by Justin Peeler, the project has released their debut double which can be streamed / purchase below:

MALLSEX - 'Take'
Mallsex is not a cheesy pornographic film filmed at some shoddy studio in a janky part of some unknown small town....Well, it might be, but it's also the name of this awesome post-punk project from Vancouver, British Columbia! The band has a couple of releases in their name but most recently released this new single 'Take'! You can stream / purchase it directly below:

Jeff Clark's - "Miserable Star"
Brand new darkwave and post-punk from Jeff Clark's! Yes, that is the name of the project. I was a bit confused by the name myself thinking to myself, "Jeff Clark's what?" Nonetheless, his brand new EP "Miserable Star" just released via Manic Depression records and is available for purchase and streaming directly below:

Gamma10 - "Virus"
Electro-industrial producer Gamma10 has released a brand new EP titled "Virus". This set of songs is based on a live performance that was conducted in Club O2. The songs have been edited and remastered for this release and it is currently available as a name-your-price release on Bandcamp. You can purchase / stream it directly below:

Scandroid - 'Astor Place (The Anix Remix)'
Fixt Neon continues to hash out remixes like there's no tomorrow. This time they're giving us a futuristic rock remix courtesy of The Anix for Scandroid's song 'Astor Place'. You can stream / purchase it directly below:

Bleeding Raven - "Final Rite"
Dark ambient / black metal project Bleeding Raven has released their last album ever. I suppose the title "Final Rite" is adequate for this situation. The nine track release is a collection of a few EPs "YAMOZHA" and "Litany". You can stream and purchase it directly below:

Panic Priest - 'Lonely City'
Panic Priest, just like everyone else, is trying to find a way to have fun during these quarantine times. What better way to do that than to have a music video made out of fans self-filmed dance routines to 'Lonely City'? This song comes off of the album "Second Seduction" which is due out on May 1st from Negative Gain. You can view the video directly below and you can pre-order the album HERE.

Psy'Aviah - 'Trian of Thought (ft. Kyoko Baertsoen)'
Never one to waste time or creative thought, electro producer Psy'Aviah has released a brand new music video for their single 'Train of Thought' featuring Kyoko Baertsoen (KYOKO, Conjure One, Lunascape). Psy'Aviah has plans to release an EP based on this song that will feature remixes. For now you can check out the video directly below:

MissFit Toys - 'Pacified Suicide'
If you're in the mood for some 2000's inspired aggrotech, hellectro, or harsh EBM than MissFit Toys has you covered. They just released a brand new music video for their single 'Pacified Suicide' complete with black latex paint and plenty of gothic attire. You can stream the video directly below:

Chris Alexander - "Body Double"
Chris Alexander is a filmmaker and composer of (if you can't tell from the image below) horror films and scores. Utilizing "dark, neo-industrial, ambient / electronic analog synthwave rock" the producer feels up old-school giallo for this score. The song 'Shock Waves' can be streamed below and the album is available for pre-sale at Chris Alexander's Store.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
