Sebastian Svalland (PAIN, Letters from the Colony, LINDEMANN) has contributed the guitars to this single while Rhys Fulber (Frontline Assembly, Delerium, Conjure One, Fear Factory) produced and mixed the single. Industrial rock project Deadlight Holiday has released their new single and lyric video for 'Bloody and Body'. Deadlight Holiday talked about the single and said that, "The lyrics draw from American culture, and our collective cognitive dissonance towards the problems we all help create as a humans. I don't think it's our job as musicians to solve or answer anything, but rather to call attention to subject matter, and create a 'question mark' of sorts for people to make up their own mind." Mexican industrial and harsh EBM project Hocico has released a brand new single titled 'Broken Empires'. The quite good single seems to be pulling influence from the dark synth scene (that bassline sounds like something Perturbator would commit to), but nonetheless keeps their signature sound alive. The Ultimate Dreamers - 'Japanese Death'
The Ultimate Dreamers, a former coldwave band that was active in Belgium from 1986 to 1990, has announced that they will be releasing a compilation album on vinyl and CD on Dans Les Profondeurs / Wool-E Discs at the end of 2021. The band has currently released two music videos for two of the songs scheduled to be released on the album which are 'Japanese Death' and 'A Long Time Ago'. Synthpop / darkwave artist Liya has announced that the music video for her song 'Kill The Beast' has been released. In talking about the song and video, Liya stated that they "are about someone with depression; someone who is not dealing with it and hurting himself and me, because we were together. It's about how his depression ruined our connection. The depression is the beast that needs to be killed." The single is taken off of Liya's 2020 EP "Cold Moon".
