Elle Noir - "Like a Black Doll"
After releasing music videos for 'The Day I Died' and 'Like a Black Doll', gothic singer Elle Noir has revealed her five-track EP "Like a Black Doll". Speaking about the EP, Noir has stated that "...it tells about a traumatic situation of my childhood, which I do not talk about and that I have been able to elaborate over the years thanks to music. DIGITAL FACTOR - "A Chemical Process"
Cult electro / EBM project DIGITAL FACTOR announced their return in October of 2020 with the EP "Come With Me". Reception for the project's return was well regarded thus DIGITAL FACTOR has moved onto releasing their full length album. Revealed recently, the album "A Chemical Process" will be out on February 19th, 2021. Two of the tracks on the album, 'Noone On The Line' and 'I'm Dangerous', are available for immediate download with the pre-order. You can stream / purchase it below:



Love Terror - "GLAMOUR"
Industrial / Coldwave band Love Terror has released their debut album "GLAMOUR" in digital formats with the CD version coming early in 2021. The band takes a stab at the "exploitations and misogynies of the fashion industry" while gearing themselves towards retro-sounds of 80s New Wave and industrial. Also, the term "ahegao" is listed in the tags on their Bandcamp page. That term means, according to Wikipedia, "an exaggerated facial expression of characters (usually females) during sex, typically with rolling or crossed eyes, protruding tongue, and slightly reddened face, to show enjoyment or ecstasy.". So, I mean, I guess hentai is an influence here, too. Check it out:



BumpHead - "HeadRush"
Industrial project BumpHead has released their new EP "HeadRush". The seven track album is "The tempestuous taste of apocalypse" with elements of hardcore, aggrotech, and darkwave sprinkled about. The EP is split into two focuses which BumpHead described as leftbrain and rightbrain; right shows a "ventricular nature" while left creates something foreboding. Various Artists - "sor ta egin"
Serving as the debut record label release on 「lotura」, "sor ta egin" is a compilation featuring the foundations of the label. The styles on the compilation range from dark ambient as per the first track, iuky's 'sony dcr-trv120', to techno oriented beats from Judy's 'Caring'. You can purchase / stream it below:



THE MAUNT - "V. Reflect"
Though describing themselves as "Modern Rock", I think that THE MAUNT's sound should just be titled as industrial rock. Their inspired by industrial and electronic elements as it is and even cite Nitzer Ebb and Nine Inch Nails as inspirations. Either way, the project has just released their fifth EP titled "V. Reflect". The five track release contains four original songs as well as an instrumental version of 'Fix'. Check it out:

Industrial and dark ambient project MAD MASKS has released their self-titled EP via record label Vague à l'Âme. The four track album is available in both digital and limited edition (to thirty copies worldwide) formats. You can stream / purchase the album here:



Seven Federations - "Holy Orders"
Industrial metal project Seven Federations has released their brand new EP "Holy Orders". The five track release has been put out on Bandcamp in digital formats and was mastered by the venerable Jules Siefert at Epic Audio Media, England. "Holy Orders" serves as a follow-up to the project's debut album "The Arrival", continues themes from the 2019 release. Check it out:



NØIR - "Just Fascination"
For those familiar with Cabaret Voltaire's output, 'Just Fascination' will be a familiar song. Originally released by the legends in 1983, NØIR has reworked the song for a new EP. Experimental / darkwave project we be echo has released a brand new effort titled "darkness is home". According to the artist, this is the first we be echo album since their 80s effort "Ceza Evi". we be echo has a special promotion going on for the album where, if you recommend a friend to purchase the album and they do, you will receive a twelve minute edit of 'All The Colours', the last track on the album. neontenic - "Neon Prince"
Synthwave and cyberpunk enthusiast neontenic has released their brand new album "Neon Prince". This is the project's second album following their 2019 hit "Synthmonster", which I praised as a "a blazing and brilliant album among the synthwave community." Their new album features ten tracks in total and contains collaborations with Rei Kennex, Dream Shore, and Luca Fucci. The album has been released in both digital and vinyl formats. Check it out:

Dark ambient / drone artist Kalte has unveiled their seventh album to date, "Morphology". Exploring themes of biology, abstract astronomy, and arcane physics, the album has been released in digital formats via Bandcamp. Check it out:

Synthwave producer skimode has released their latest album "Soon Comes Night". The twelve track album features collaborations with Von Kaiser, Katie Hightower, and Glitterwolf. It has been released in both digital and limited edition cassette formats. The title of the band is defined as "a figure of speech in the form of hyperbole taken to such extreme lengths as to insinuate a complete impossibility." I guess that translates over to their experimental, drone, and dark ambient nature on their debut album "Softcorner". All proceeds of the album will be donated to Bandhu Gardens. Check it out:



Featured - "We The People"
Have you ever been proud enough to have been fired from all the bands you've been in? Well, Julian Beeston sure the fuck is. After reading through a hilarious press release talking about how he was fired from the likes of Nitzer Ebb, Die Krupps, and Cubanate, Beeston has formed his own project called Featured. Their debut EP is a bombshell featuring the likes of I Ya Toyah, Whitney Tai, Paula Glimer, and Livvy Holland. Let's just hope he doesn't manage to somehow get fired from the lovely folks at Armalyte, eh? Check it out:

Influenced by a range of genres including goth, darkwave, electro, and industrial, the duo STILLNOX has released their brand new album "ATEN". Swedish synthpop project MORE has released their new album "From The Past". Influenced by legends such as Depeche Mode, The Doors, Joy Division, and The Smiths, the band takes a retro approach into the modern day. Pretty Addicted - 'Too Much (90 Days A Cycle)'
Dance punk project Pretty Addicted has released a brand new music video / single titled 'Too Much (90 Days A Cycle)'. Like many other of Pretty Addicted's songs, 'Too Much (90 Days A Cycle)' are filled with emotionally powerful and engaging lyrics based on personal events. The lyrics read, 'He threw me away / like I was disposable, / I'm left alone again / inside of these walls.' Dismantled - "No Escape"
Industrial and pop inspired electronic artist Dismantled has released a new single / lyric video titled 'No Escape'. Regarding the single, Dismantled has stated, "I decided not to cut down the song to length after seeing winds push heavy smoke into my town in Oregon. The sun turned red and ash began falling from the sky. For an entire week you couldn’t walk outside because of the air quality. The gas mask I wore in 2002 only now makes sense. Climate change is real. We need action now." The single has been released Bandcamp where it comes with a second song titled 'The Way Back'. You can stream the video directly below:


NILBOG - "LOST MANKIND"
Electro-industrial and EBM beat maker NILBOG returns just in time for the end of 2020 with "LOST MANKIND". The project has been slowly releasing single after single throughout 2020 which began in January with 'REALMS OF THE UNREAL', continued with 'A BEAST INSIDE' in April, and finally ends with 'LOST MANKIND' in December. The single features the aggressive retro-industrial beats NILBOG has become loved for and can be purchased HERE. You can stream a music video for the single below:


Scenius - 'Make It Shiny'
Synthpop project Scenius has announced that their new single / music video 'Make It Shiny' has been released. Focused on the darker side of electronics, 'Make It Shiny' comes off the project's new album "Enough Fears" which released on December 4th, 2020. Cementation Anxiety - 'Thaw'
