Urban Matrix - "Der Countdown läuft"
Old school EBM / techno producer Urban Matrix has released a brand new EP titled "Der Countdown läuft". Urban Matrix pays tribute to their German heritage on this release with each of the tracks telling compact stories. Der Prosector - "Car Bomb"
Industrial punks Der Prosector have unleashed their brand new EP "Car Bomb". The five track release contains the lead single, a new song titled 'You're Being Lied To', as well as three remixes of 'Car Bomb' from Go Fight, The Joy Thieves, and Dead Agent. The EP is dedicated to Daphne Caruana Galizia, an investigative journalist who reported on political events in Malta. Perhaps this is the most unique project I've seen on one of our What's In Our Inbox? features in quite some time. The album contains hints of EBM, italo-disco, doom-metal, and lo-fi synthesizers throughout. Growling vocals top off the tracks on the album; it really is quite bizarre. Inspired by the synth and retrowave movement, Cyclotimia is an electronic project focused on bringing a harsh and drap outlook to the normally neon saturated genre. Synthwave, goth, and metal all combine in Synthapex's music and the same can be said for their latest output, "Embers City". Kurt Riley + Praxis - 'Free'
Producers Kurt Riley and Praxis have teamed up to deliver a dark, gothic take on a Cyberpunk future. The music video features one person seemingly trapped in a virtual reality environment and headset while another dances all around them. It's a bit odd to watch but the music is well executed. Verset Zero - "Kerygma"
Experimental, noise, metal, and electronic producer Versey Zero has announced that their new album "Kerygma" will be released on November 24th, 2020. The nine track album pushes the artist away from his electronic roots and on the heels of a post-metal sound with inspirations from noise, doom, pagan, and black metal as well as bands such as The Body, Full of Hell, Neurosis and more.
