PREMIERE: Nudisco and Synthwave combine in Shyguys' debut album "Venture"!
Shyguys are a relatively new discovery for both myself and what I assume to be a large part of the synthwave audience. Seemingly coming out of nowhere, these two Swedes who hide from the limelight allow their music to do the talking. A simple biography on their Facebook page reads, "Born in the 80s, making music today," and that is all that really needs to be known about these two passionate electronic artists.
Combining the best of smooth synthwave with the beats of nudisco, Shyguys have aimed to create an album that can be enjoyed no matter what you are doing. "Play this in your house, your car, on a run, on your bike, mowing the lawn, washing the dog, in a corner shop to the owner whilst purchasing your pineapples… play it everywhere!" reads the description of the album, and nothing can be farther from the truth. But enough talk. Check out the whole album directly below for yourself:
"Venture" is due out on July 6th via Lazerdiscs Records. You can pre-order the digital album HERE.

info@brutalresonance.comI've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
