PREMIERE: Neon Insect Finds The Beauty in Noise in his latest music video
Industrial powerhouse Neon Insect has certainly taken his time producing his second full-length album. But as it is with most artistic labors, the wait has been worth the while. At least that's how I feel after getting this little sneak peak at the album prior to its drop this Friday, June 28th! 'There Is Beauty In Noise' is quite blunt in its approach as the song definitely contains a bunch of well placed noise amongst the industrial beats all the while Neon Insect talks about oppression and how someone can never truly be silenced. You can stream the video directly below:
The song's statement is that, even though there is oppression - even through technology - in New Moscow, there is no chance of silencing thoughts. Whatever is done, the more is done, will even foster unrest. And even the smallest of flames has the potential to turn into a bushfire.
"Liberty Flowers" is a concept album. Picture this: The future is now. The only habitable place in the United States is what remains of New York. Only in this timeline, Russian influence is everywhere and New York is now called New Moscow. 'There Is Beauty In Noise' explores a section of Old Manhattan that has become a practice area for tanks and cyborgs, while old rebels have been caught and killed. There's more to the story if you listen to and analyze Neon Insect's debut album "New Moscow Underground", so I advise some diving into that. Order it HERE.

The video is more of a creative journey. With a little alignment through the story. I've learned many technical skills from filming it in a basement all by myself to learn new skills in 3d design, set creation and greenscreening. These skills will allow me to create more visuals and bring the world of New Moscow to life even more. There is still a subtile story in this video, mainly the Return of "A" cyborg-mech (if you followed the story of New Moscow Underground). -Neon Insect

I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
