Norwegian industrial metal band Carrion has released their second single ‘Revenant’ off of their upcoming album “EVANGELIUM HAERESIS” due out for release in winter of 2021 via Brutal Resonance Records. ‘Revenant’ is a sonic kick in the teeth; a fast-paced, relentless hammer to the knees sure to incite imagery of violence. ‘Revenant’ comes along with a remix from industrial juggernauts Dread Risks, who transforms the song into a dense, rhythmic ballad.

Carrion front-man Hide Tepes had this to say about the single:

’Revenant’ is a song born from my own mania, delusions and confrontations with the darker aspects of my being. It`s a song that while I hope you can`t relate to it or that you see yourself in it, perhaps it can inspire some self-analysis or open your eyes to the harmful behaviour and thought patterns of certain people you`re better off without. That said, it is also a song of desperation, frustration and dancing on the razor’s edge as it were.

"Revenant" is available for purchase

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
