Electro-Industrial / Cyberpunk project HOSTILE ARCHITECT announces debut album "LOWGRADELIFE"
Australian electro-industrial / cyberpunk artist HOSTILE ARCHITECT has announced that his debut album “LOWGRADELIFE” will be out on September 24th, 2021 via Brutal Resonance Records. The fifteen track album contains nine original tracks, including reworked versions of ‘LOWGRADELIFE’ and ‘WAGESLAVE’ which initially appeared on the artist’s EPs “::LOG.0:: HOSTILE THEME” and “::LOG.1:: LOWGRADELIFE”. The album also includes six remixes from Dirt Factory, Dream of Machines, Cheap Coffins, Null Cell, Black Hole Zion, and Mach Fox (Zwaremachine). With mastering done by Roger Menso, “LOWGRADELIFE” is a futuristic banger that should not be missed.
Speaking on the album, The Architect Mitch Kenny stated:
It’s a story from the villain’s perspective; it’s about trying to make sense of the modern world through a patchwork of sci-fi esotericism, cyberpunk tropes and references, and wearing other artists’ influences on my sleeve. It’s honestly an album I never really intended to make. I wanted to use HOSTILE ARCHITECT as a way to quickly release music free from limitations I set myself in my other project but instead ended up finding an audience along the way who really preferred me making six-minute electro-industrial bangers. You can definitely see that in the remixes; some of them I legitimately prefer to the original versions and I just can’t say thank you enough to the people who put their hand up to work on this project with me.
