We are hosting our first ever official contest for musicians to be featured in our upcoming free compilation, "BRVTAL RESONANCE: PHASE ONE" which is planned to be released via Bandcamp. Any and every genre that we review will be accepted, from industrial to EBM, synthwave to electropop, and dark ambient to noise. To see a full range of what we have reviewed, simply click on "Reviews" on the main site, click "Genres" near the top of the page, and you will see all we have reviewed.

The start date for the contest was February 18th, 2016 but will last one month, ending on March 18th, 2016. To submit your tracks, E-Mail Brutal Resonance with a download link to info@brutalresonance.com. We are accepting the best of the best (original tracks, remixes, B-sides, demos, live songs, etc.), so having it in .wav format (24 bit, 48khz) or better might be in your best interest.

Brutal Resonance started as an idea in February by Patrik Lindstrom in February 2009, who wanted to create a webzine focusing on EBM, Electro, Industrial, Ambient, Noise, and similar genres of music. Through hard work Lindstrom made Brutal Resonance a reality in April of 2009. After nearly six years of non-stop reviews, interviews, and features, Brutal Resonance is gearing up to release their first ever compilation BRVTAL RESONANCE: PHASE ONE.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
