Entering The Ice Age (2009)
EBM, Electro |

The album starts out great with “Run For Protection” with it’s heavy rhythm that continues on to the second track “New Dawn” that have a bit more modern touch to it. The title track “Entering the Ice Age” is highly addictive and I promise you will be humming on it and besides that it have a great 8bit solo that brings back memories of rainy afternoons with your Nintendo. If that wasn’t flashback enough, the fourth track is a remake of their debut EP ‘Behave’ that was released in 2000. This time without the former third member, but this track is still great and perhaps even greater in this refreshed version.
Unfortunately I think the album is doing a turn after that, sure, the fifth track “Your Heart” is pretty nice, but I think the album slow down and the tracks are less compelling. The ninth track “Dope of Love” is a real cutie, but otherwise you have a tendency to start the album over from the beginning to experience the great first half.
